desk.ly installation guide
In this section you will find a tutorial on how to connect Tapirx device do desk.ly.
Set desk.ly API key
- Log in to the Tapirx Client admin with your credentials here
- Click on "Client admin" link in the top menu
- Navigate to Settings -> Client settings
- Insert your desk.ly API key
- Click on Save
Import desk.ly resources
- Go back to the Client admin
- Navigate to desk.ly import
- Select resources for import (resources from desk.ly which will use Tapirx devices)
- Click on Import selected
Connecting resource to device
- Go back to Client admin
- Click on "Device list"
- Click on "Menu" and choose "Settings"
- Select resource from the list
- Click on Save
Aggregated view
Aggregated view allows showing multiple seat reservations on one Tapirx device.
- Go to the Tapirx Client admin
- Go to the resources
- Click on Add resource
- Create a resource (Eg. Office A-123)
- Go to the device list
- Assign a device to this resource
- Go to the desk.ly import
- Import the seat, which you want to aggregate (if not imported already)
- Go to the resources
- Choose the seat
- Click Menu -> Aggregated view -> select the device -> click Save
Done
Please set up your Tapirx device as written in Setup manual which we have provided to you and your device should start showing calendar. Please allow 5-30 minutes so the device has time to start synchronizing.
