Paper-like reading

The charging period depends on how often the device refreshes the screen. In our application you can choose a device refresh period of between 5-30 minutes. Please note that distance from the Wi-Fi signal source also significantly affects energy consumption.

Booking from the screen

Book the room from the Tapirx Touch 7.5" screen

With Tapirx Touch 7.5" you can book the room directly from the screen. After pressing the Book button you will see the list of available time periods. If selected and confirmed the room will be booked.

After successful booking you can also cancel the created booking from the screen by pressing the Cancel button.

We also provide a Check-in functionality. The room will be released if nobody checks-in within a period of time. This can be changed, enabled or disabled in our client administration.

Use the Tapirx smartphone application

Users can book the room form the screen by scanning a QR code with their smartphone or web browser. There are smartphone applications for Android and iOS operating systems.

Please note that Tapirx smartphone booking application is only available with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace/Google calendars. With Zoho you can use the Zoho Calendar mobile app. Nexudus provides Nexudus Passport smartphone app. When using another system via iCal(ics) files you can use a QR code to redirect the user to a custom URL.

Mounting

You don't need any cables or wiring as you can stick the device on glass or other surfaces. For this purpose you will be provided with 3M Dual Lock circle stickers. A template is enclosed in the delivery package allowing easy installation of the stickers.
For wall mounting we can provide sturdy metallic wall-mount holders. List of available accessories.
